Theological Triage at the Door — Lead With Christ

Albert Mohler's doctrine of theological triage distinguishes Level 1 doctrines (the gospel and the deity of Christ — denial places someone outside the faith), Level 2 (significant differences between Christians — baptism mode, church government), and Level 3 (in-house debates — eschatology, worship style). When you have ten minutes at the door, do not spend it on Level 3. Lead with Level 1 — the deity of Christ and the gospel. Most JW conversations get derailed onto birthdays, blood, or 1914 (Level 2/3 disputes from a Christian perspective). Discipline yourself to come back to the deity of Christ, because if Jesus is God, the whole Watchtower system collapses; and if Jesus is not God, no other doctrine matters.
