Mark 16:7
Mark 16:77But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.’”
receives little JW commentary. Where it appears, it is read as the angel's directive to the disciples to meet Jesus in Galilee — confirming the post-resurrection appearances of the Gospels but not interacting with the JW doctrine of an invisible parousia in 1914. The verse functions as background narrative rather than as a load-bearing argument verse.
is a small but cumulative piece of evidence for the bodily resurrection and the visible post-resurrection ministry the Watchtower's invisible-parousia framework has to flatten. Pair with (visible ascension, with two angels saying Jesus would return "in the same manner") and ("a spirit has no flesh and bones, as you see I have"). The risen Jesus appeared in Galilee in his physical body, ate with his disciples, and ascended visibly. The angels in Acts 1 said his return would mirror his departure — visible, bodily, witnessed. The 1914 invisible-presence doctrine cannot be squared with the angels' own description.
