John 14:2
John 14:22In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
Read as evidence of a literal architectural heaven with limited housing — the "many dwelling places" become reserved units in a gated destination set aside for 144,000 anointed Christians. Everyone else inherits a restored paradise earth. The verse becomes a real-estate problem: space is limited, so the door is closed to the rest.
The Father's house is the temple image ( — "my Father's house"), the place of God's dwelling. Jesus' point in 14:2-3 is "I am going to prepare a place for you... I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." The prepared place is being where Christ is — God's own presence. Pair with ("the dwelling place of God is with man") and ("they will see his face"). Heaven is not coordinates with a housing supply; it is the personal presence of God himself, available to every disciple Jesus addresses — and through them every believer ( — one hope, not two).
