NT Acts
Acts 7:22
22So Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.

JW Usage

Stephen's reference to Moses' Egyptian education is mentioned in JW publications as background to Moses' later leadership of Israel but is not connected to the higher-education discussion. The Watchtower's typical framing presents secular education as a snare and a waste of time better given to Jehovah's service, without addressing the New Testament's affirmation that God's deliverer was educated inside the ancient world's foremost pagan academic system.

Protestant Usage

Stephen — speaking under the Spirit before the Sanhedrin — cites Moses' Egyptian education as a positive credential. "Educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians" referred to the full curriculum of Pharaoh's court: astronomy, mathematics, medicine, language, statecraft, religious texts. Stephen's point is that Moses was equipped for leadership before God used him. The pattern matches Daniel's Babylonian training (): God's deliverers are repeatedly shown learning the world's systems thoroughly, then being used to bring the word of God into and through them. The categorical Watchtower discouragement of higher education contradicts the apostolic preaching's own affirmation of pagan academic formation as preparation for service.
