In Corinth, Paul's evangelistic method is straightforward public teaching: "he would give a talk in the synagogue every sabbath and would persuade Jews and Greeks" (NWT). No door-knocking is described. Paul speaks weekly, in a fixed public venue, to a mixed audience of Jews and Greeks who chose to be there. This is destinational ministry — seekers come, the teacher speaks, truth is reasoned. Combined with (synagogue plus marketplace), (three months in the Ephesian synagogue), and (daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus), Paul's actual pattern is clear: public, destinational, in venues where hearers gather voluntarily.
