# God's Kingdom Government

JWs present world problems (war, disease, injustice) and offer God's Kingdom as the solution — a real government established in 1914 that will soon replace all human governments. This is their most polished doorstep presentation.

## Recognition Signals

- "world conditions"
- "God's kingdom"
- "1914"
- "last days"
- "God's government"
- "world problems"
- "kingdom of God"
- "Matthew 24"
- "sign of the times"

## Opening Question

> "I agree that the world needs God's intervention. But can I ask — your organisation taught that 1874 was the date of Christ's invisible presence, then revised it to 1914. They predicted Armageddon for 1925 and 1975. If the dating was wrong before, what gives you confidence that the current version is the final one?"

## Expected JW Responses

### Response 1

**JW says:** "The light gets brighter — Proverbs 4:18."

**Observation:** Proverbs 4:18 describes the path of the righteous getting brighter — it's about moral living, not doctrinal revision. Ask: "Is there a difference between light getting brighter and the light being turned off and a different bulb screwed in?"

### Response 2

**JW says:** "We never claimed to be inspired prophets."

**Observation:** The Watchtower (15 April 1972, p. 197) said they are "Jehovah's prophet." Deuteronomy 18:20–22 gives the test for false prophets: if the prediction doesn't come true, the prophet did not speak for God.

### Response 3

**JW says:** "Other churches also get things wrong."

**Observation:** True — but other churches don't claim to be God's sole channel of communication on earth. The claim creates the standard.

### Response 4

**JW says:** "But look at world conditions — wars, famines, earthquakes. These prove we're in the last days."

**Observation:** Jesus said the opposite — "the end is not yet" (Matt 24:6). In Luke 21:8, He warned against people who say "the time is very near now." Historically, famines have dramatically decreased: China had nearly one per year for 2,000 years; your own organisation admitted the worst preceded 1914. Ecclesiastes 7:10 warns against assuming former times were better. We feel things are worse because media makes every disaster instantly visible.

## Follow-Up

The real question isn't whether God has a kingdom — Christians agree he does. The question is whether the Watchtower is his sole representative. If they've been wrong about major dates and doctrines, maybe the kingdom message is true but the messenger needs examining.
